What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (or BUS) is an initiative produced by the UK Government to improve the carbon footprint across the UK by reducing the installation price of an Air Source Heat Pump.
Why should I apply?
Installations are time-limited until March of 2028 and the scheme covers the majority of the cost of installation for an Air Source Heat Pump - with bill savings up to £100 a year.
How does it improve my home?
An installed Air Source Heat Pump (under this scheme) will allow for carbon savings up to 70% compared to the traditional gas boiler as well as removing any need for imported gas into your home, of which contributes to UK energy security.
