The Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (WH:SHF) is putting £1.29 billion into upgrading social housing across England — and EEH Solutions is ready to deliver it.

WH:SHF is the government's flagship scheme for decarbonising social housing, delivered by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) as part of the wider £15 billion Warm Homes Plan. Formerly known as the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 3, it funds energy performance upgrades and low-carbon heating in social homes currently below EPC band C.
The fund exists to:
Deliver warm, energy-efficient homes for social housing tenants
Reduce carbon emissions in line with UK net-zero targets
Tackle fuel poverty and ease cost-of-living pressures
Support green jobs and grow the UK retrofit sector
Improve comfort, health and wellbeing by reducing damp, mould and cold-related illness
£7,500 per home cost cap for energy efficiency measures (insulation, ventilation, fabric upgrades)
£20,000 per home available for low-carbon heating plus associated measures on gas-grid properties (up to 10% of homes per application, no match funding required)
£7,500 per home additional cap for low-carbon heating on off-gas-grid properties, stacked on top of the standard efficiency cap
Delivered via two routes — the Challenge Fund (open to all eligible providers) and Strategic Partnerships (for organisations delivering at scale)
