The following case study explores how EEH-Solutions have contributed to the Green Home Grant Scheme (GHG), acting as a tailor to the homeowner’s specific needs. The GHG scheme was a voucher operation for eligible members of the public, as it provided funding to install External Wall insulation (EWI) in their home.
EEH-Solutions sourced leads and managed all properties from beginning to end internally and independently. The map of such leads is as follows:
EEH-Solutions performed 95 varying installations over a six-month period involving EWIs through these independent leads and surveyed approximately 450 homes.
However, the GHG scheme was prematurely terminated due to UK government policy. Work by EEH-Solutions was therefore ceased, unable to complete all surveyed homes that may have led to an installation.
Despite this shortcoming, EEH-Solutions continued to hold responsibility for work, as all confirmed installations were, again, fully managed by EEH-Solutions - from initial survey to handover and finally, lodgment - these included partnership with private homeowners and those in low-income households that are currently facing fuel poverty.
To conclude, our independent work has assisted in strengthening the various communities we partner with and, despite the scheme date cutting the survey process short, we at EEH prevailed in completing all working installations under the GHG grant system.
